In my experience, you can never have too many methods for car advertising. Selling a car can be a long drawn out ordeal. Some cars that are not very popular or are high mileage do not seem to sell very fast.

If you do have a trade in, they will not discount the price of the car you are wanting.

What it boils down to is, the dealer makes more money on trades.

Don't Pay For Two Cars

If you owe money on your car and you trade it for a new car, then you will wind up paying for two cars. They just add the difference between the amount they offer you and the pay off, to the price of the new car.

Now you are paying for the non discounted new car and the payoff balance of the car traded.

I stated that the new car is non discounted, because most car dealers will not lower their price, when you trade. If they do lower their price, it is still more than the price they will quote you, if you don't trade.

I said all this to let you know that you will save money and have a lower car payment, if you sell your car, instead of trading. Use the online car listings for selling your car. The online car listing sites are easy to use and effective.
