When using car selling websites, always choose the option to “run your ad till sold”. It may take several weeks or months to sell your car.

7. Place an ad in your local newspaper’s classified ads.

If there is a big demand for your car, it may sell quickly by using your local newspaper's classified ads. I recommend running an ad for one week in your local paper. If you get a few calls, that will let you know that your car is in demand and it should sell. Be sure that your car is priced right and looks good. The car should also be in good running condition unless you are selling it for a reduced price.

If you don't get any calls, you will have to use other car advertising mediums to sell your car.
